Associated Sessions

Registration as a delegate (see Delegate Prerequisites under Registration Information) for the 2011 Global Microcredit Summit is a necessary prerequisite for consideration of all associated session applications.

A limited number of spaces are available in the program for Associated Sessions organized by delegates. Applications for these sessions will be accepted based on the topic to be discussed and the expertise of the speakers and/or panelists. The Summit organizers hope that the Associated Sessions will explore topics not already covered by the Summit Program. These one-hour sessions will be listed in the Summit Program.

Associated Session time slots and rooms will be assigned by the Summit organizers based on availability, room size, and room set-up. To help defray some of the costs of the meeting space for these sessions, a fee of 200€ will be charged. An invoice for this amount will be sent to each session organizer along with confirmation of acceptance of their session.

The room will be equipped with PowerPoint presentation capabilities including a laptop computer and standard sound equipment. With the exception of equipment already present in the room, organizers are responsible for arranging additional costs of presenting the session.
